June 13, 200323 yr You are talking about FS2002 framerates or FS2004 beta? [email protected] | 32gb RAM | EVGA GTX1080 8gb | Mostly P3Dv5 (also IL2:BoX, DCS, XP11)
June 14, 200323 yr Sorry, my post was regarding FS2002. I wish I had a beta of 2004 :)Assuming that FS2004 is simply all or most of the things we wanted fixed or added in FS2002, I really don't think that there'll be that much difference in performance.FS has always been a power users sim and FS2004 will be no different. On the other hand, it's not like the sim has seen a complete overhaul in it's scenery and dynamics engines. FS2004 will have better ATC and AI, better weather, and some more planes. Sure there's a bit more to it than that, but out of the box, the sim should run on probably 75% of the users out there. It's when we start to add all those add-ons where most of us will start looking at upgrading.JMHOKyleCF-AOA
