September 6, 200916 yr I've got a plane in FSX that only has a 2D cockpit (no VC) and it's almost impossible to see the runway on takeoff. :( Is there a way I can change something to lower the view over the dash board?In FS9, all you had to do was hit SHIFT + ENTER and that would switch the perspective lower. September 6, 200916 yr Moderator The keyboard commands for FSX 2d panels is:Ctrl-Shift-Q Shift-QEdit the panel.cfg file entry as follows for a more "permanent" fix:VIEW_FORWARD_ZOOM=0.800VIEW_FORWARD_DIR=4.800, 0.000, 0.000The first entry sets the initial zoom level (80% in the above example)The second entry sets the view angle (4.8% down in the above example)The second number is the Pan angleThe third number is the Tilt angle Fr.
