Ok, thanks Dave, I am aware of that option in FS. I just thought there might be a way to reduce the traffic in the actual default traffic.bgl file.Lyndon

Finally found a solution through trial and error, and it's so simple. Apparently my set up did not like the disabling or romoving of the traffic.bgl file. Anyone know of a modified traffic.bgl, which reduces or eliminates the default ai traffic or should I use ttools? Thanks in advanceL.P.

Sorry to jump in here but I am curious just how you "removed or diabled" the default traffic bgl (traffic030528.bgl) that would cause any issues?Many of us use the World of AI packages and disable the default traffic file so we have only real world airlines and none of the Orbit and Landmark stuff - no problems at all. Moving the default file to a temporary folder or renaming it with a bak or orig extension should not cause any problems in FS2004.

Opa, I actually have no idea why it causes the problem. When I delete or modify the traffic.bgl file to .bak and I get ctd on start up of KSEA. So I just deleted the default aircraft except the default cessna as I don't fly them anyway. Maybe it has something to do with windows vista 32bit sp2 as this is my os.Lyndon
