fms works well in panel but does not do so in pop up modevivek

I am having the exact same problem where the FMS will seem like it freezes and none of the buttons work. I have to hold down the "ON" button and basically restart it.

But as yourself the pop-up mode of the FMS does not work on my PC.

I usually work out of the pop up FMS as well. Is this a known bug that is being looked into or is there a config issue on our computers?

It's not an actual issue that's affecting everyone Scott - none of us on the dev or test teams see it. I flew a bunch yesterday trying to recreate this and a couple of other problems and couldn't.Could you guys post a list of everything you have installed as far as other addons - specifically try to think of anything that has "overlays" or adds panel windows to aircraft - what we think is happening here is that there's some sort of invisible window in front of the 2D FMS that's causing you to not be able to click it. We need to figure out what that is... Do you see anything out of the ordinary in the list of views/windows within FS?

Hey Ryan,Thanks for your interest in that issue. My add-ons : scenaries from France. PMDG 747. PMDG JS41. Mytraffic X. Chris,Have you tried doing a reinstall of SP2 (or repair install of Acceleration) and rebuilding the FSX.cfg? We believe corruption of those to be the cause of this now, taking those steps has solved the issue for several users.

Ryan I'm very confused... I was in SP1 :( . Following your advice I upgraded to SP2 and the following issues are now fixed :)* SHIFT+2 is working* speed cards are properly displayed* the FMS in 2D mode is functionalAs for the FMS being stuck in FPL mode... I'll have to try to reproduce that. It does not seem to happen every time (?).Many thanks for your help!
