How do I darken the ridiculously bright night lighting in the virtual cockpit of the default cessna 208?ThanksAlex

Not positive but I think the entry for 'fx_vclight' in the 'aircraft.cfg' file can be substituted or altered.Use an editor and open the 'fx_vclight.fx' and try altering this values. My best advice is to NEVER alter any of the default files in FS...Make a COPY of any given file, rename it, then play with the COPY... :(

how do I get rid of the reflections on the glass? thats the main thing that blinds me at night

http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showtopic=259733Of course this will only work in the default aircraft. If it is a 3rd party aircraft, the developers may have not named the file as a reflection. You may have to hunt the right one down by trial and error.

Thanks for the tip. But will that get rid of all reflections on the airplane? Or just the windows like I want?
