737 and B19C+D

Featured Replies

I have FSX and I was wondering if it is possible to port these 2 planes over to FSX? If it is possible, can someone give me a link to instructions or tell me instructions in a post. I would really like to have the 737 and B19C or D for FS2004 in FSX.Thanks,Jeff

Definite no on the 737; I've heard the B1900 is no problem but I wouldn't see the advantage. I am running both FS9 and FSX in my system with no ill effects.

The B1900C/D models are no problem to copy and paste over into your FSX install, but you have to change a few things. I followed the instructions on the PMDG How do I import the 1900C and 1900D into Flight Simulator X? FAQ. The only difference is that I put all of the guages into the Panel folders. There are a few that will not show up, but they will after a bit of work to put them in there. I am not at my home PC right now to be able to tell you all the proper guages to make sure they show up the first time, sorry.Mike Shannon

Is there any way to port it over even if I don't have FS9 on the computer?Jeff

If you mean that you have FS9 on one computer and FSX on another, sure, just use a jump drive to transfer the files from one PC to the other. If not, you may be able to install it to a temporary folder and cut and paste to the proper folder.Mike
