Hi,My question is, why the Jetstream 41 doesn't have a hotel mode like the ATR72 ?Ben

I'm not sure the designers of this aircraft read this forum.I presume your asking why the plane does not have it as opposed to why PMDG didnt put it in.

Ben,The JS41's engines are geared turbines. It is impossible to run the turbine without also turning the propellers on a geared turbine.There are advantages to a geared turbine, one of which is a faster response to power changes.

So there is a plus and a minus.Thanks KurtBenPS : since it's a geared turbine engine why not using some kind of heavy clutch ?
