JS41 - taxi, stop and shutdown

Featured Replies

I did the tutorial yesterday and taxied to the gate. Conditionlevers in taxi position of course. Had the powerlevers on idle, but the plane kept on moving without any hint of slowing down.Should I pull the powerlevers even further back (into the reverse) or did I forget something?

The brakes?Jokes aside, I'm not sure what you're asking. Are you wanting the aircraft to sit still without brakes/chocks but engines running? That would require having the power lever around or perhaps just rear of ground idle. It may not work so well in FSX.

Yeah...I apply the brakes but still the plane kept rolling.I'm gonna try the powerlever towards the reverse (<idle setting that is)

I find that, at least with my controllers (X-52) Keeping the power levers in beta just a little keeps the creep factor down to a dull roar...so to speak.Worth a shot.

With the power levers in beta just enough to get the beta lights but not the reverse lights, the airplane will sit still without the brakes.
