FSX activation failing and MS site not accepting PID

Featured Replies

I started FSX today as normal and received an activation problem message. The product is now running unactivated. When I went to the MS support site it refused to accept my product ID. I have been running this product on this computer for the last two years. Is anyone else experiencing this same problem?

I have installed FSX about a zillion times now - after a couple of activations you have to use a phone hotline (free). When you activated the program this way, you can install it from CD again - but after a certain amount of reinstalls it's hotline-time again :-).

What is really stange is that I checked in regedit and found a PID that is not for flight simulator X according to their support page that rquests the PID. They say it is for a product that I do not have. I have to wonder whether their servers are messed up. Do you have the hot line number for the UK. Couldn't find it online.
