September 21, 200916 yr Can't seem to figure out what's wrong...when i'm in VC and look back at the wingtips, I see the NAV lights. Hoewever...as soon as i'm going to the spotplane view, I see the nav, beacon, conspiclights for only 1 second and then they're gone :( Only thing that always seem to work are the ice obs lights. Also (maybe related) I miss the wheelblocks even though I've selected them in the rampmanager...sometimes I see them, sometimes I don't.Is there something I should check in the settings (FSX settings or videocard settings)? I run FSX in 1900x1200x32bit modus. DX10 enabled in triliniar mode. Have my FSX and nHancer configured according to Nick N's advise. Eric [FSX on Windows7 64-bit]
September 21, 200916 yr DX10 was a "preview" mode and has a problem with light occlusion which can create the problem you're having. If you switch to DX9 mode you should be able to see the lights correctly. Not sure why you would not see the wheelblocks but it may also be related.Hope this helps,
September 21, 200916 yr Author Thx, will give it a try later today and report back. Eric [FSX on Windows7 64-bit]

If you go to the settings screen in FSX, under display options, there is an option to enable or disable DX10 preview mode. You need to restart FSX if you change that setting for it to take effect.Regards,
September 23, 200916 yr I understand the DX10 Preview issue, and that switching back to DX9 makes the lights all function correctly on the JS41, but why is it that other aircraft, Leveld, default FSX aircraft etc, dont have the light issue when running in DX10 preview? DX10 Preview may not be complete and only half done, but it seems in this case its a JS41 problem rather than FSX as other aircraft are able to display the strobes and beacons properly in DX10.Perhaps something that needs looking into for the SP?RegardsJames Regards James Carr
