757 in level flight

Featured Replies

I bought the Captain Sim 757 Pro Pack for FS9 which I don't think is at all bad, particularly as it cost me less than 10 pounds. I know it's not up to PMDG, LDS etc standards but it gives me something else to fly and I quite like it.One thing I have noticed and the main point of this post is that when in level flight in spot view, the fuselage is absolutely level. I thought all a/craft had to fly with some angle of attack so is the CS757 wrong in this respect? If it is wrong, is there something in the aircraft.cfg file that I can alter to correct it?Iain Smith

The AOA at cruise depends on your altitude, speed, weight, (among other things). At what FL and speed are you seeing this? I've got CS 757 sp 2.2 and see a few degrees of nose up at FL 350 M.88...

There should be a considerable nose down tendency at M .88. Mostly due to the complete structural failure of the aircraft :( . :( (Overspeed)Edit: I don't think anythings wrong there, Iain

I was on a short flight so at FL250 310kts IAS. I will try a longer, higher flight but from what you say, Mike T, what I'm seeing is probably normal, which is fine. Thanks for your response. :( Iain Smith

:( Meh, M.88 is only the start, wait until I strap these newly released Captain Sim add-on rocket boosters and get the 757 up to Mach 1.2!
