September 24, 200916 yr Author Thanks all.Yes it works. But I seem to remember the original FSX rain effect was influenced by airspeed. So that it moved up the screen when speed increased and almost disappeared when the speed was that much faster. As it is, it seems a little odd to be motoring along at 140 knts and the drops are runnning down (forward in effect)! But I am not ungrateful it cures the problem which prevented any flying.Nigel

Unfortunately, there's nothing the end user can do to change this... :( Fr. Bill AOPA Member: 07141481 AARP Member: 3209010556 Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator

March 1, 201016 yr this reminds me of taking off in a rain storm in fs9, in the dreamfleet 727, with Cloud 9s LAX... what an atmosphere. the sounds of the rain and the windshield wipers was great. I really miss that bird :( So if we download those files it won't break anything on other addons, just give us rain effects finally for some of the planes?
March 2, 201016 yr Maybe there's an airplane above you with a leak in the toilet water pipelines :( Ed OcampoStaff ReviewerAVSIM Online[email protected]Fly DC Jets
