September 22, 200916 yr Due to conflicts I'm having with another add on, I'm thinking about uninstalling the FSX acceleration pack and then installing FSX SP2 instead. Question is, will this cause problems with any of PMDGs add ons?? Would I need to install SP2 then re install PMDG's aircraft after that?Cheers
September 22, 200916 yr Commercial Member I've never tried this but I can't see why it'd necessitate a reinstall of the planes - just uninstall Acceleration, install SP2, and then run FSX. It shouldn't touch the planes... Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
September 22, 200916 yr Author Ok, next question - how do I uninstall acceleration with uninstalling FSX altogether? Add/remove programs only gives me an option to remove 'FSX:Acceleration' nothing else - this seems to be a 'remove FSX' option.
September 23, 200916 yr Commercial Member No it's not - you use that, it uninstalls Acceleration. Then reload Add/Remove and it'll show a vanilla FSX entry there after. Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com

The worst thing that can happen is you need to do a re-install. Regards, Ron Gautreau CYYZ
