Dynamic weather and Real Weather in FS2004

Recommended Posts

Guest FlyboyMichael

Hi guys,I'm wondering if anyone knows whether both the dynamic weather and the real weather systems be enabled simultaneously in FS2K4? Will the dynamic weather system in FS2K4 enable the development of weather formations between the real weather downloads? Also will you be able to see a distant weather system or will it just appear as you fly into it?Any opinions or tidbits of information would be great. Thanks,

>Will the dynamic weather system in FS2K4 enable the>development of weather formations between the real weather>downloads?I suspect the answer would be no. Downloads will occur say every 15 min and weather is a kind of slow process phenomena. You don't want to to run your own 'dynamic' stuff for 14 minutes only to find out a minute later you got it all wrong !!I think the weather 'averaging' program like the Active Sky will still be indispensible in FS2004 to smooth those transitions out.Michael J.http://www.reality-xp.com/community/nr/rsc/rxp-higher.jpg
