Changing AI aircraft touchdown point

Featured Replies

Hi all, hoping some AI expert will chime in on this one. I've noticed that some of my AI aircraft, most notably the AI Aardvark DC9-10 touches down very far down the runway and on shorter runways runs off the end. I believe there is a change I can make in the aircraft.cfg to adjust that, but don't remember what it is. Can anyone tell me? Any help would be greatly appreciated.KP

You may find the alternative FDEs at http://janswebsites.110mb.com/flightsim/index.html are a good solution.Best wishes,John

I looked at the site, but don't see one for the DC9-10. He has one for the DC9-30. I don't know if I could just use that one maybe, since the two are both DC9's. I don't know that much about that kind of stuff.KP

You could almost certainly use the DC9-30 FDEs, its certainly worth a try, but you would need to copy the following sections of the original aircraft.cfg file into the new one:[contact points]and[lights]Normally I would say copy [views] to but as this is AI and not a flyable aircraft, its not worth bothering about your position in the cockpit unless you are a stickler for detail.Hope this helps,John
