October 3, 200916 yr Just wondering if you can use super flight planner for FMC in the JS41. Or is there a freeware flight planner out there that will work? Seems like FSnavigator is not available for FSX and I did not want to spend money for FS build. Also when you build a flight plan manually with the fmc , and you pick your departing airport and your arrival airport. How do you generate the waypoint in between? In the tutorial they entered in V39 , and then it seemed to fill in the waypoints. I did not understand this part. Thanks for help,Perry Messina
October 3, 200916 yr Commercial Member Perry,The part where you enter V39 in the tutorial is an airway entry. You're telling the FMS essentially to fly from X to Y along a certain airway. When you do that, it automatically fills in the waypoints along the airway between the entrance and exit points. Think of it as passing through certain towns while on a highway. Other waypoints (besides SIDs and STARs) you have to just enter in manually. Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com

October 4, 200916 yr Author Hi Ryan, just wanted to ask again if you can use super flight planner for the fmc? Thanks again Perry.
October 4, 200916 yr By extrapolation, since FSBuild supports the PMDG FMC products including the J41, I would assume it will work with SFP.Here's the page for SFP which has a news item regarding PMDG product exports:http://www.cpinf.com/and a thread here by a user that added its performance profile to FSBuild:http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showtopic=262592SFP is freeware so you could install it and try it on the J41 if you have it.I'm an FSB user.
