Project Airbus A320

Featured Replies

Has anyone downloaded the new Jetblue paints for Project Airbus A320. I have one problem though, on the right engine the text for www.jetblue.com is smeared. Anyone know how to fix this or has a fix already then can send me or the e-mail of the painter? I would love to fly this plane but the smeared letters bother me.Thanks

HeheThe writing isn't smeared, try looking from the front and you'll spot a "fin".You can use photoshop/paintshopPRO to edit the textures. In this case i would just move the text lower down on the engine.

Hi there,it's actually not smeared text, but the writing goes across a little 'wing' on the engine. But the real thing only appears to have those on the inboard sides of the engines: http://www.airliners.net/open.file/363044/L/Also, the text appears to be a bit lower than on the repaint: http://www.airliners.net/open.file/366745/L/There are two possible solutions: Try out some of the other PA IAE engined models, they may have the correct configuration, or alternatively, open the texture and move the text a bit lower down.Cheers,Gosta.http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg

Just for info: the small "wing" on the engine cowling is actually an oil cooling fin. The IAE engine uses two of them (one on the inboard and outboard side each) while the CFM only has one inboard.ReadUTorsten

I tried editting them, which I am not very good at, and still could not get it fixed. Has anyone else fixed this problem yet and could possibly send me the file. Thanks

Where can I download this from? Been looking for a long time!

Craig the liverys are in the Avsim library, there are two different ones. Their files names are jetblue.zip and jetbluemesh.zip.

I looked here, flightsim, and two others, and nothing?

Far as I know PA have not yet deviated from their no-public-repaint policy - files probably removed (again) in keeping with that policy.Regards,Mark

They were removed because PA somehow doesn't allow repaints to be uploaded. Can someone email them to me?

*Bump*I know someone has had to of corrected this. The text on the right engine really annoys me. Also I see that the white line on the engines makes the wierd shape while the engines are running.
