(The pitch/roll cues will clear away.) (I've never had to do this)Un-Mute the CAP panel.Set the flaps to NINE. (First detent)Press the Go-Around button (on the throttle)Press HDG and ALT SEL on the flight director.SET HDG bug to match runwayHold ShortTalk to ATCWhen ClearedCONDITION LEVERS fully forward into the FLIGHT position. (CTRL+F4 )Take Off The proper technique for takeoff is to rotate slowly until airspeed stops increasing. You should see approximately 12 degrees nose attitude. You will hear a "positive rate of climb" call and at this time you should retract the landing gear. While the gear is retracting, the airplane is going to want to accelerate, but you should continue to use pitch to keep speed from increasing until you are more than 400' above airport eleva­tion. At this point, pitch down to approximately 10 degrees and retract the flaps.This technique will have you making your initial climb at approximately 135-145 knots until the pitch-down and flap retraction sequence.As you climb through 800', continue to modulate your pitch until you see 170 knots. At 170 knots, press the IAS button on the flight director. This will command the flight director to give you pitch commands to maintain 170 knots in the climbTURN ON AutopilotBring the power back so that your EGT matches the lower hatch-markSet engine RPM to 98%.FMS press the DIRECT TO button your next way point will be highlighted PRESS ENTER.PRESS NAV on the flight director.NotesNow it's over to you to watch you don't over speed and Ice'ing though climb and cruise.DescentSET ALTPRESS ALT SELPRESS VSUSE FMS/AUTO Pilot window SHIFT-3, FMS in VNAV to see and use pitch to set your VSSET your 4 IAS for APPROCH and LANDING speeds.ENTER airport ILS radio frequencySET CRS for runway, PRESS V/L ONCE and turn CRS to match runway heading.PLAN to burn of speed down to 170 IAS before turning onto final/GSBEFORE turning onto final ARM APR, set FLAPS to 9SET RMP to 100%After turn on final get you're SPEED to match what you set the green speed bug to.Keep dropping your flaps and keep speed on the green speed bugLandFully configured on LOC and GS, you should see a descent rate around 700 fpm and you should maintain your magenta bug speed all the way to 200' AGL.Descending through 200' AGL, press the autopilot disconnect button and the yaw damper.Begin bringing the throttles back gently to idle, and with only a slight flare you should touch down at your blue ref-bug speed.Reverse thrust down to 70 KnotsAt 70 Knots power to ideaTaxiTaxi lights on and any other you like.When slowed to around 50 knots, bring the condition levers to TAXI (CTRL+F2) and make the next available turnoff you see.Shutdown.See top of page.

Very nice. Thought I should share mine too: Checks and Flows PMDG BAe JS-4100, short edition. Short edition, because all preflight tests etcetera are left out. These flows and checks are completely by the AOM and the tutorial, except unnecessary items for flightsimming are left out, for example all tests done before the first flight of the day. Reason for this is doing all the tests by yourself costs a lot of time: IRL you are with two. Second all systems always work perfectly in FSX :( . And third: Bryan is working on a FS2Crew edition for the J41 in which he will make all the tests a two-man process. Hopefully someone can use this document. Comments are highly appreciated!PS: begin situation should be cold & dark cockpit: make a dark & cold cessna 172 as your default flight. Load the J41 just as you normally do (select J41 livery, select airport, weather and time, press Fly Now! (this way my FMS always works :( ). You now have a nearly cold & dark cockpit, except some minor items, described in my flows and checks.
