FSX SP2 Crashing using Win 7 beta

Featured Replies

Hello,I have just installed Fsx in Win 7 beta, and it has been crashing often. I am running it on a DELL XPS Pentium Quad Duo 2.40 Ghz, 3 Gigs of ram with a GTX260 video card. changed the compatibility mode in Fsx.exe to Windows Vista SP1, but the problem still persists. I am also running Mytraffic 5.2.Am i the only one to have this problem?

Didn't you ever update to the Win 7 RC?That may be your issue right there...

Check and see what it is crashing with. Click on the windows ball (lower left) and then in the search field type in eventvwr.msc and press enter. Expand the Windows Logs item and then click on Application - look for the error and let us know what is.

Sounds like the same CTD i have, it happens when you use the menus too much. I just mapped some of the menu functions to my joystick and it solved the crashes.
