October 10, 200916 yr ACA2005 appears very helpful from what I have been able to get to work. However, when I first start up I receive an error stating that the file "airline.cfg" cannot be found in the "FS9\aircraft\" folder.I searched my whole computer and cannot find a file by that name. I have been into FS for many, many years and don't recall a config file for "airlines".Any assistance/words of wisdom availaible ?Joe Schnelle Autos, schöne Frauen und deutsches Bier ! Give me a PM and I can send my CFG to you that should do the trick. RegardsDan

Mine is 50 KB in size and is dated 5/23/2008The name of of the file is airlines.cfg (PLURAL) so if you searched for airline.cfg (Singular) you would not find it. If need be, you can always restore it from your install disks. It is on Disk 1 in the MSGAME1.cab. The file can be extracted using any good zip/unzip program.

Your file obviously has all the "real" airlines. What is the purpose of this config file? I have been "flying" quite some time without the file at all and have not noticed anything amiss. JoeI am not certain but believe mine is larger as I have updated it via the EditVoicePack program. That will allow ATC to call the aircraft correctly using real world names. If you are not familar with EditVoicePak you can check it out here:http://www.editvoicepack.com/It is free and highly recommended !! :( :( :(
