..or any other aircraft,
That should give you a clue... pilot error. There is no excuse for a pilot to lose control of where the aircraft is going or how it is flying. Maybe your over/under control, maybe the speed is such that aircraft becomes unstable ... it is just a guessing game without seeing it.

It is not a pilot error, it would be ridicolous after so many hours in real life.Still, i find the behaviour of the aircraft on final unacceptable, and apparently im not the only one with this problem. So any suggestions?

Do you have a hotkey setup for aileron trim?

Hmmm no, not that i know of. When disconnecting i press Z for A/P and X for A/T. Could this be the problem? Ill have to check aileron trim next time/

Jim, you need sign your post every post. Failure to do so will result in your post being deleted which would likely be frustrating for you as well as those that took the time to respond to your needs. It is odd that this occurs only at 300ft? I had a similar issue but it was on the ground after landing. I would turn the AP off but the YAW damper remained on.I have the joystick disabled in FS and only use FSUIPC to program my controller. This eliminates any potential of a conflict between FS and FSUIPC.Check all of keyboard and axis settings in FS and ensure that there are not any set that may contribute to this issue. Delete everything that you do not use and run everything from FSUIPC instead.Up to you and a bit of a pain but I have deleted my FSUIPC ini file from the main FS folder from time to time. Not sure why this works I think probably something gets set and I do not know a better way to clear it. However I have fixed an issue from time to time by doing this. You will have to reenter your registration and reprogram FSUIPC if you do this.If all else fails I delete the FS CFG file. This too has helped me out a time or two. Again do so at your own risk.Otherwise I am lost.

I also see it, and always assumed the AP is holding course and attitude against the prevailing wind. As soon as you turn off the AP, the controls are free to move to match the flight yoke/rudder pedals position which rarely perfectly match the position commanded by the AP. You are not seeing that? Thanks.Bob.. :)

Hi Bob,I think the poster has a more severe issue than the normal correction that one would expect after disengaging the AP. The issue I had (I actually forget exactly what caused it, it was a simple fix though and has never came back) was severe and utterly uncontrollable on the ground following landing. Not a very gentle manual correction on the controls due to the AP commanded trim settings which unless landing in a hurricane or single engine failure I would expect to be minor and gentle.

Oh this poster has a serious issue everybody! He is NOT Jim Kallinen, Jim Kallinen is a personal friend of mine. He is THE most infamous x-plane forum member ever, having been banned from every x-plane forum known to man. Please form your own opinions though....go to x-plane.org and do a search on "nikereact" or "andrei" and you will have more than enough posts / feedback on this member. As long as he behaves himself, then treat him accordingly, but be careful about getting sucked in to his posts. he's already lied about who he is in the very first post. Had he not done that, I wouldn't have even posted this...but in less than two weeks of membership..he's already making regular AVSIM members twitch.

Interesting... Seeing as he isn't signing his name after each of his posts, I suppose he deserves no replies.

Why are you using my name Andrei ? First you use my sons name and now my mine. You have proven yourself to be someone who act beyond forums rules where ever you sign on. Admins, please ban this kid, he is banned from all X-Plane forums world wide. And now he is here making a name for himself impersonating me. The trouble will quickly follow. BTW. I don`t fly heavies or use whatever plane your asking questions about, and most everyone who knows me, will verify that.Signed by the real,Jim Kallinen

And now we know what kind of "real" pilot with "so many hours" he claims to be.... something in his writing struck me from the beginning that guy could not be a pilot.
