Protection error when opening FDSFX

Hi all,I haven't used FS 2004 for more than a year. Now, I wanted to use it again, but when I click on the opening buttom of FDSFX (Board announcements and music, a fantastic add-on created by Marcus Thompson, released December 23, 2003), I receive a protection error and the FS 2

"Protection Error"?. Gee, I have never heard of that before. Are you running Vista or Windows7? Sounds like an Administrator rights type message. Can't help there as I am still on lonely ol' XP. :( But glad to hear you still enjoy our little add-on.Clutch

"Lonely ol' XP" ? Did you mean "Lovely ol" XP" pehaps?Tis Lovely for me as I don't get those %^&*$ protection messages that Vista users have to deal with !! :(

Not really - I had not re-installed it until today (was off due to a major rebuild I had to do a couple of months ago) and it works perfectly for me.Perhaps a fresh reinstall of the gauge etc. would be worthwhile.
