October 12, 200916 yr Hey Guys:Anybody know what the keyboard command is to lower the airstairs in the great new FSX L-188 Electra by Team FS KBT?"Shift E" opens the passenger door but doesn't deploy the stairs. I've tried all kinds of other "Shift +" combinations but nothing seems to work.Any help greatly appreciatedThanksBill
October 12, 200916 yr I'd hazard a guess and say you might have to assign the tailhook or wingfold command.Or maybe the stairs just don't work.cheersJP.

You may be right about them just not working altho considering KBTs usual attention to detail on other releases I'd be surprised. With over 14,000 downloads of this aircraft so far I hoping somebody out there has the definitive answer!!Thanks againBill

Bill:Many thanks for the reply. I must be (probably am!!) doing something fundamentally wrong - I see the entry in the aircraft.cfg file you refer to and Shift E opens and closes the main door - "but" - Shift-E, 2 brings up the panel radio stack (+opening or closing the main door) and Shift-E, 3 brings up the GPS + opening or closing the main door.Clearly I'm missing some key point. I've put this question out on all the main FS boards and so far - while there's been lots of message views - no body has come back with an answer despite the 14,000 downloads of this aircraft package so perhaps this prob may not be as simple as it would seem.Any other ideas or thoughts much appreciatedThanksBill

Talked just now to one of the beta testers on the KBT FSX L-188 package and he said the stairs and exits never worked correctly during beta and apparently didn't get fixed during the release. So I guess its broke! :( Thanks anyway for your insight hereBill
