October 16, 200916 yr That's a known bug, and as far as I know there is no fix. Maybe someone in the Rotorhead forum here on AVSIM knows more, or they have a solution at Hovercontrol.com.Jeff ShylukSenior Staff ReviewerAVSIM
October 17, 200916 yr Author Right you are! A wiz named Paul at Hovercontrol provided this code to be added to the cfg of the Merlin.in the [Helicopter] section -Oscillating torque issue:correlator_available = 1 (was 0)governor_pid = 0.5, 1, 400, 0.01, 0.01 (was 0.25, 0, 0.9, 0.01, 0.15)And combine that with reducing controller sensitivity in FSUIPC (for me that "I´ll rather be down here wishing I was up there than be up there wishing I was down here"
October 17, 200916 yr Hi FolksCrewecut/nineblade -The snippets you've posted won't workas you've removed the comment characters. :( Also, I wasn't the originator of the tweaks.My post was - there are some tweaks which minimise their effect.(as posted by others).Edit your EH100's aircraft.cfg as follows -in the [Helicopter] section -// Oscillating torque issue.correlator_available = 1 // Oscillating torque was 0governor_pid = 0.5, 1, 400, 0.01, 0.01 // Oscillating torque was 0.25, 0, 0.9, 0.01, 0.15For a seperate issue,where only 2 switches exist in the VC.In the [electrical] section -engine_generator_map=1,1,0 // Tweak for lack of 3rd switchHTHATBPaul ODG Preview
