VC camera movement

Featured Replies

In FS9 I was using Active Camera where you could move the camera in VC with middle button on the mouse. In FSX the same effect is when you press spacebar and move the mouse. Pressing on the middle button in FSX doesn't seem to do anything... is there a way to assing this (spacebar) to the middle mouse button? Because you have to use two hands to move around VC in FSX and that is specially annoying on approach. Of course, maybe I'm missing something here.

HiI have started using Mouse X which seems to be what you are after? I simply mapped my middle button to space bar... :( Hope this helps?CheersRuss

I use the middle button (scroll) to zoom in/out inside the VC but rarely use it. I don't understand using the mouse while landing. If you have a good joystick (like MS Force Feedback) use the hat and look around the cabin as you're landing (or taking off). If you don't have a joystick, get one as it will dramatically enhance your experience(s) in FSX.Best regards,Jim Young
