October 22, 200916 yr Author OK update on this.I went back to check documentation and checked if FSX SP2 was installed. Surprise Surprise: it was not. This is a requirement for the Cheyenne. Then I remembered why SP2 was not installed, it did not execute and did a roll back when installing and I forgot to install it. There are no solutions available on this error on the net.Problem: The original FSX was on a separate partition and I had reinstalled FSX on top of this existing FSX folder (of course FSX had been properly uninstalled). This somehow caused the registry to still have some FSX entries.Solution: Start anew. Format the partition. Reinstall FSX by installing in a folder with a different name (I named it FS10). Voila! It works and SP2 installs and so does the Cheyenne.Shez Shez Ansari Windows 11; CPU: Intel Core i7-8700K; GPU: EVGA GEFORCE GTX 1080Ti 11GB; MB: Gigabyte Z370 AORUS Gaming 5; RAM: 16GB; HD: Samsung 960 Pro 512GB SSD, Samsung 850 Pro 256GB SSD; Display: ASUS 4K 28", Asus UHD 26"
