OK update on this.I went back to check documentation and checked if FSX SP2 was installed. Surprise Surprise: it was not. This is a requirement for the Cheyenne. Then I remembered why SP2 was not installed, it did not execute and did a roll back when installing and I forgot to install it. There are no solutions available on this error on the net.Problem: The original FSX was on a separate partition and I had reinstalled FSX on top of this existing FSX folder (of course FSX had been properly uninstalled). This somehow caused the registry to still have some FSX entries.Solution: Start anew. Format the partition. Reinstall FSX by installing in a folder with a different name (I named it FS10). Voila! It works and SP2 installs and so does the Cheyenne.Shez
