Hi everyone, I will be installing a double boot system on my new rig , Windows 7 with FSX on one HDD and for the second HDD FS2004 and I need advice on what operating system to use WinXP SP3, Vista 64or Windows 7. I would appreciate from experts what is the best way to go

Instead of creating a dual boot system, why not Install W7 on one HD and the install fsx and fs9 and your second HD, this is how Im set up with Vista 64, keeping fsx and fs9 on its own HD is better then having it on the same drive as the OS

I see absolutely no reason to not go with Win7 x64. It's a great OS.
thanks to all, as far as installing both games on second drive, what is your take Ryan?

Honestly the best thing to do is get an SSD and put the OS and FS on that... But if you can't swing it, then yeah I guess putting FS on a separate drive makes sense at least from a file placement and fragmentation perspective.
