October 20, 200916 yr My frustration is at several levels. During the brief time I have been able to successfully fly the J-41, it has been impressive. Easily one of the best flight sim experiences I have purchased, and trust me I have purchased alot. Almost every PMDG product produced. So when I experienced CTDs it becomes frustrating. Let me explain: when I switch to a map mode or some other tool bar function, I lose the screen (it goes to blank) and the program freezes. I attempted every solution recommended: from rebuilding the FSX cfg to reloading SP1 and acceleration. Went over again the different display settings to see if that would help,it didn't. Now the recent SP1 hoping above all hopes this would solve my problems, no joy. Let me be quite clear I am not being critical of PMDG or its staff, all I want is to boot up FSX and go fly my J41 to wherever. I am the following equipment:Dell XPS Studio - 435 MT, Intell Core 2.67 GHZ Mem RAM 6.0 GB system type 64 bit, Video card ATO Radeon HD 4600 with avail mem 3323 MB. I just look for help and any solutions someone can recommend.ThanksRichard S. Churchill Richard Spencer Churchill PVT SEL GYSGT USMC (ret)

In general sounds like a potential video driver issue. Have you loaded the latest version? George Morris
October 20, 200916 yr This is a common problem, happens to me all the time with the MD11, the only solution is once the flight is loaded, I do not for any reason leave full screen mode or alt into the fsx menu bar, the screen will go blank or I'll get corrupted textures everytime. It may have to do with your drivers but there is no fix for it, as far as I know.
