J41 2D screens problem

Featured Replies

Hi guys, the screens (2D) appears but i cant use them (cant click on anything).should i reinstall the plane?something in config i forgot?any tip too on how to get your plane on the pwr supply? thxDave Guindon

Shift 2 brings up the ramp manager. Click on the GPU, so it turns green. Then move to the overhead panel and set the GPU switch (the one in the middle of the left and right generator and battery switches... a bank of 5 switches) to GPU or GPU/batt assisted... I can't remember the exact designation, I am not in the "cockpit" currently :( That should give you ground power to perform preflight and left engine start. Once the left engine is running and its generator is online, you can disconnect the GPU... If you are having problems with the 2D FMC, a reinstall is not a bad idea. You have activated it I assume... Do not forget that SP1 is now out...Andrew

Yes, i reinstall, yes i have the SP1 and STILL no 2D screens working. Ive checked with my pmdg boeing, and 2D screens are fine. So its not my settings. All the 2D screens appear, but i cant click on anything. Its the same with the reference speed book, once i click it, i cant take it off cause i cant do anything with it :(Do you think i should report it to the dev's? ill wait for any advice meanwhile. thx Dave Guindon

Did you try the FSX View pull down menu to see if they work?
