Anyone using this soundcard with Win7 64?

Anyone using a Creative Soundblaster Audigy SE soundcard with Win 7 64bit? The MS compatibility tester told me that this card is not compatible and there are no Win 7 drivers for the SE on the Creative site but there are for the other Audigys. I have e-mailed Creative support but the promised reply has not yet materialised.Iain Smith

Iain, I am using that soundcard with Win7 Pro 64bit. I did a clean install of Windows 7, and it automatically downloaded the drivers for the Audigy SE. It works, although there are some minor issues with sound. I did a little research and found that Creative hasn't released any Win7-specific drivers.

Thanks, good to know it works. I wonder if the Creative Vista driver would work also. Might give that a try if I have any issues.Iain Smith

Glad to report that this sound card works fine with Win 7 64bit. Creative's auto updater even found a new driver for it. So take no notice if the MS configuration utility tells you otherwise.Iain Smith
