My experience;I had regular OOMs - with PMDG and Mega-Airports, especially - until I installed the 3G switch. This completely solved them, with one exception; I had a fragmented page file, which did the same thing. There are fixes for both, you only need Google them. If you follow those two procedures (neither of which are at all difficult), then you may end up like me, with never having experienced an OOM since.Best of luck...- daniel

Once again thanks to all that joined this discussion.The shop assistant has ordered a wrong motherboard, so I'm stuck with the old one till around Tuesday.But your posts had added courage to my average system tweaking skills. I have made a decision to apply the switch.I have changed the boot.ini as well as tweaked the FS9.exe. Alea iacta est!I have performed two flights under conditions that would almost certainly made me end up with OOMs:- PMDG 747-400 Heatrow - Frankfurt- PMDG 747-400 San Francisco - FrankfurtBoth in real time, with RW weather (ActiveSKy) on HD clouds, addon aiports (UK2000, Aerosoft and FlyTampa), 100% AI traffic, AES, Voice Checklist, UTE, GE, FSG, and some more stuff. And you know what? .... both were fully successful. No damn OOMs!Sometimes we wait so long to do something so small that gives us so much joy.Thank you all. I hope the two flights were no pure luck and I can burry the OOM storry in the forest.
