Which Airbus A380?

Featured Replies

For FS9, I am looking for the best possible A380 experience. I am aware that there is no one product on a PMDG or LDS level of quality or realism. If it was as good as one of the PSS birds or the Wilco Airbus (WITHOUT the bugs!!!) then that's good enough for the moment. So what I look for: an outstanding visual model and some flight dynamics that make this bird feel heavy. An FMC with some decent funtionalities. Some "manual work" for bringing the cockpit from cold and dark to life. Which one to pick, or which combo to go for? Overland seems to have a nice visual model. Anything better? Which panel is best? The one from Wilco? Can that be merged with the Overland plane? Thanks for any hints.

HiI bought the AFS A380 because I thought it might be better than Abacus / Halcyon A380 - big mistake!. Neither are worth buying - the Abacus is mediocre (just freeware standard) and the AFS is worse! Don't know about the Wilco fs9 version - am waiting until I see really good reviews on either this or any new A380 addons before I buy again!Bill

The only one I'm aware of at the moment is http://www.nextlevelsimulations.com/Which will be released for FSX then FS9.I had the Overland merged at one point with the Wilco version. Just couldn't get used to the default GPS as a nav so I turfed it.
