Landing in San Diego

Featured Replies

Hi, I noticed that in KSAN, planes preferably land on RWY27 unless the wind is from east. I mean they land on RWY27 when winds are calm from east, and winds come from south and north. In flightsim, they mostly land on RWY9 because it's got the ILS.How to avoid that and ensure that RWY27 is favored?ThanksGhiom

You would have to do some fancy editing of the FS approach code with something like ADE9X and add an ILs to the stock approach (creates another layer) for 27 and change 09 to only an LLZ only. This is not the same as an AFX or AFCAD type editor. Your aircraft will not see these changes, only AI. It is a very vague scoring system and difficult to control.http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=95 is the forum to look at. Search under AI runway priority and user jvile. Be prepared to look at a lot of material.
