July 2, 200322 yr I have asked this question before - but during the time when the BETA testers were still covered by the NDA. Hope I will get some input this time! :(AS a non realtime flyer, I think what I like most about Flight Simming is that it gives me some experience of what it is to fly in real life. Everybody talks about "realism" -- but of course , I do not and would not know what realism feels like when it comes to flying - as I am a non flyer!! :) So I need to experience it through lessons and adventures.I always thought that these were pathetic in FS2002 -- the audio was almost impossible to hear/understand ( maybe this was some attempt at "realism"?) and while the Private Pilot and Instrument rating in a small GA aircraft were OK -- the lessons that incorporated the jets were ridiculous -- they started off in mid-air and assumed that you already knew how to fly one.Could any kind soul who has the GOLD version please give us some insight into the FS2004 lessons/adventures.Thanks Barry
July 3, 200322 yr The lessons were completely redone in FS2004 with a new scripting system. All of the audio has been resampled to increase the clarity or is completely new for the new lessons. There Geofa WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE-the best Flight Sim!
July 3, 200322 yr PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me they have some kind of text/captioning system... I couldnt do the lessons because with my hearing, I cannot understand what is being said. Therefore, I can't do what the instructor is telling me to do.
July 3, 200322 yr Geof,I had emails the following to MS as a way to improve on the lessons some time ago. Can you tell me if any of these made the cut?1) In Commercial lessons offer Chandelles, Lazy Eights, Procedure Turns, Tear Drop turns, and 80/260 procedure turns monitored by Rob with feedback of progression.2) In Instrument lessons offer lessons on DME Arc
