July 3, 200322 yr I will try to watch for this next time I am at a busy centre. The word is that it has been reduced but this is all really dependant upon the positioning of the nodes in the adcad file as far as I understand.

July 4, 200322 yr Ken, that's an interesting question. I certainly hope it has been improved in FS2004. I think this happens because the aircraft is in effect a servomechanism that is attempting to follow a line. If it is underdamped (i.e. somewhat unstable) it will oscillate when it encounters a turn. By chance I discovered something interesting. I found that by changing the frame rate lock from 15 to 16, the wiggling was much reduced! This is probably not surprising, as changing the frame rate lock could significantly change the parameters of the feedback loop. It may be that the wiggling may be less noticeable on faster computers. By improving the feedback loop Microsoft should be able to greatly improve or even eliminate this problem. A 747 that wiggles violently as it turns is not as real as it gets! Fingers crossed.... Best regards, Chris
