Hello,Are there any marshaller add-on's available for FSX? I know about AES but I'm looking for something global for every airport and I don't really need the other features they offer.Anything else available? Thanks!

Hi unfortunately I haven't seen anything else besides aes, some airports do have a marshaller in there scenery. now that I think about it I'm surprised that ms didn't have one, come with the default airports in fsx.

Ah ok, thanks for the info! well there is an idea right there for someone that can make add on's :(

FSX has the arrows, which do the job of a number of people at the airport, including marshallers. But the arrow isn't a person. I think ACES made the decision to avoid modelling people as much as possible. People models require a lot more animation than aircraft models and tend to chew up a lot of resources. I saw a demonstration from an ACES animator that the 747 in FSX contains the same number of animated joints as the Master Chief's arm in Halo 2. Jetways already chew up a lot of resources; a marshaller atthe jetway would multiply that amount. That being said, we are talking about values germaine to the year 2006, and it's coming onto 2010. Today's computer could certainly handle "MarshallerX".Jeff ShylukSenior Staff ReviewerAVSIM

For sure, all good points!I mean even if it was arrows that pointed right/left and stop I would be happy. For me it's hard to park right at the gate without using the outside view, and the arrows on the ground at that point are not really visible. Time to learn how to make add-ons hehehe
