Can anyone reference procedures for clearing DISCONTINUITY. I have tried several ways and end up eith different results.Thanks George KPHX

Sometimes the disco can be eliminated by simply promoting the fix after it to the disco position in the LEGS list (copy to scratchpad then from scratchpad to new position).If that doesn't work, it is because there really is a disconnect. For example, if you have a sequence of three waypoints they are expected to be along a route but if the second waypoint is after the third instead of before the third then there will be a disco error. The FMS doesn't like 180 turns at a fix. The best way to find these errors is stepping through the LEGS with the ND in PLN mode. Usually, the problem is obvious when you can see it but also look at the headings to each fix and look for a reverse course.Hope this helps.
