Computer Help?

Featured Replies

I have an HP Pavilion DV7000 laptop and it wont start/boot up. It is only 2 months old. i have 2 games installed on it, Flight Simulator X and Nascar Racing 2003 Season. I left the power chord pluged in for the last 5 days or so and when i went to turn it on, the lights go on, on the computer and after about 5-10 seconds it clicks then shuts off. The last few weeks i couldn't play these 2 games with the power chord plugged in. if it was plugged in the screen would go black and return to the homescreen and a notification would say "display driver has stopped working and has recovered." If i load up FSX and fly with the power chord plugged into the computer, everything that is light is in squares and it glitches up really bad, but when i unplug the power chord everything goes back to normal and it works just fine within 3-5 seconds after unpluging it. I turned the computer off with the power chord not plugged into the computer and it hasn't started since i really need some help, it is still under warenty so should i bring it in or is there a solution to fix the problem??? Please i really need your help i am dying to play FSX i havent played in almost 2 weeks!!!Thanks SO! much for your help!(If this thread goes in the CTD fourms im sorry for the mix up avsim admins!)

Yeah, I agree with the above poster. You're having a power supply/battery problem, I believe.
