Occasional Invisible AI Airplanes and Silvering

Featured Replies

Hi All:Can anyone direct me to where I have find an answer to an occasional problem with "see through" ai aircraft. Once in a while, I will see the outline of a translucent AI aircraft, but as I get closer to the plane, the paint job appears and the plane looks normal. Also, I have also noticed that I will once in while see a plane with a silver like sheen when viewed from afar. I can see the paint job under the silvery sheen when I get close to the plane, but the sheen is still there. I have solved this before by installing another version of the plane, but now I have the problem with an Aeroflot-North B737-500, and I can't find other paint jobs for this aircraft other than the one which is installed. I have turned off DX10, and aircraft shadows, and as I noted, it does not affect all the AI traffic, only certain planes. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like an LOD problem with an addon plane.I saw a similar problem with one of mine. I use World AI" and I think that perhaps one airline did not install correctly. Problem is that I have no clue which one is the culprit...I'll see if I can capture a screenshot of one and post it later.
