December 3, 200916 yr I had the unfortunate need to reinstall FSX and have been having difficulty reinstally some of my Flight1 products because of a quoted "file/path" issue. Flight1 has essentially told me that this has to do with lack of administrator privelages--well it could be. My default logon is a "computer administrator", but not the "Administrator". I hadn't even set up a password for that accound. Well, I went through the pain of restarting in to safe mode so I could find the hidden administrator account, make a password for it and all went well. However, when I go back to my normal log in and select "run as", then click on the "other account" and enter the Administrator and password I just made, I get an error that says "Unable to log on: Logon Failure: user account restriction. Possible reasons are blank passwords are not allowed, logon hour restrictions, or a policy restriction has been enforced". Please, any help would be appreciated. I really want to get these add-ons back (one of them is my beloved FSX LDS 763). Thanks for any help.Eric Eric Szczesniak

December 3, 200916 yr I run XP also - and I am the only one who has access to my computer so I have it set up this way:Guest Account is turned OFF.No other accounts at all other than mine and I have full adminstor privledges.I also do not use a password - set it as blank. You might try setting yours up that way as a test. I have never been denied access to anything I have attempted to install.Note: This is a screenshot of my "Run As" setup - (Right click on your FS2004 Shortcut and select the Run As option).
