AI Flight Planner help...

Featured Replies

hello all! recently i have had a growing interest in making my own ai traffic for FSX. i have read some of the fourms here and on other sites about different programs that make traffic. I have been recomended by a number of people to use AI Flight Planner. i installed it and followed the instructions on how to create your own ai. the AI i am trying to make is Air Canada Jazz. they do not have a package for them at WOAI. first thing i did was download flightplans. i downloaded AIG's Air Canada Jazz Winter 08/09 flight plans. then i downloaded the specific aircraft it told me to download. in this case CRJ-705 (which i used the CRJ-900 for) the CRJ-100/200, Dash 8-100Q and the Dash 8-300Q, plus all four liveries, red, orange, green and yellow. then i installed the base packages for the textures. they are all ment for AI. and as a treat i added the CRJ sound ai and the Dash-8Q sound ai. So im all set to go. i opened up Ai Fllight Planer and spent about an hour and a half trying to figure it out. so to make a long story short i didnt figure it out. what this thread is about is for people that know how to use Ai Flight Planner and have made their own traffic before. he's what could be done to help in the easiest way possible. Since i already have the flightplans and the AI planes, all you have to do is just make a .BGL file. using AI Flight Planner. for some people that would only take about 4-5 minutes, probably less. PM me or reply to the thread if you are willing to do this for me? there are 2 plus' to this. one, your're helping out a fellow flight simmer big time! and two you get get your own Jazz traffic and just make endless copies of the .BGL file and put them in the scenery/world/scenery folder. I really need some help with this i have spent the last two weeks trying to add Air Canada Jazz AI to FSX and i cant do it. If you make the .BGL file for me i could e-mail you some scenery for FSX. i have loads of Payware scenery for fsx and i would'nt mind sharing it with you if you helped me out with this! please respond to this post or PM me if you are interested in doing it, plus you can get some payware scenery for free.thank you for all you're help and support!

Ryan you sound young so please take this as intended, 'sharing' payware is called stealing, and it is not condoned here.

Agreed - sharing payware is very poor practice - its is, as previously mentioned, stealing. :( Ryan - I suggest you download the following tutorial:http://library.avsim.net/search.php?Search...t&Go=SearchStudy it so you understand the basic concepts of how a traffic file is created - especially the part which deals with using the correct information in the aircraft segment.Once you get a handle on the concepts, the AI Flight Planner program will make more sense and be easier for you to use. You will never learn if you don't do it yourself.

its not stealing as long as you're not caught!

Nope, this type of garbage isn't happening here. There's no room for piracy here at AVSIM. And while I'm at it, that's a 30 day suspension for clearly and willingly violating the AVSIM terms of use
