Id agree with Digitalexpress. I really dont consider having two monitors such a necessity. One good monitor should do just fine. I can, of course, think of specialized applications which would require the implementation of two monitors, but for home or office use...hmm...

You agree with a comment posted by someone not in this thread?Of course multiple monitors aren't a "necessity". Neither are PCs built for Flight Sim. :(

Yes- lots of simmers get along satisfactorily with only one monitor. It would also be possible to eliminate all the window glass in automobiles- replaced with a single monitor in front of the driver, a camera on the car roof- and perhaps a head mounted automatic pan & zoom system as an option at extra cost.Since glass is quite heavy, cars would be lighter and so would save gasoline- another way to prevent global warming!Think I'll stick with my desktop IMAX.Alex Reid
