Can't catch the cable on Nimitz

Featured Replies

Guys,I just downloaded the Nimitz that Javier Fernandez designed(V2). I can't seem to catch the cable and get stopped on the deck(yes my arrestor hook is extended). Do I need Acceleration to be able to catch the wire and get launched off the cat? I have FSX SP2 and I thought it would work just with that. Could someone clue me in here? Also how do I get my T45 to line up with the cat and what buttons do I press to get launched? Maybe I am going too fast to get stopped(120 knots), What is the appropriate touchdown speed to use for the T45 anf F-14?Thanks in advance.Alex C

You need Acceleration for the carrier features to work properly. At least as far as I know....

When you install Acceleration your key mapping will be redone, and the hook up and launch features will be assigned to specific key combinations. So, hurry out and get Accel. But do some research with regards to SP 1 and 2, can

than be up there wishing I was down here"
