December 14, 200916 yr Hello fellow simmers.I've spent some time looking around for landclass products for Africa in fs9 and so far i have not been successful. I do know of the free one on avsim and i think it's lovely but it doesn't quite cover a lot of cities. I was wondering if anyone knew where i could get a proper landclass product for Africa as a whole, or to be even more specific, West Africa? It could be payware and/or freeware? :( Thank youWalter

December 14, 200916 yr Author You should get FS Global 2010.Thank you for the response fs2004, i do have fs global 2010....but it only contains terrain mesh files, not landclass. I'm looking for something similar to the products created by scenerytech for fsx but for fs9.....

December 14, 200916 yr Then get FSGenesis. As far as I know, does't FSGenesis offer any land class for Africa (lots of good stuff for other continents though).Wolfgang
December 14, 200916 yr Author Yea, i also did look at Fs Genesis, it only has a land class file for parts of the USA, the rest are terrain mesh files for the rest of the world too.
December 15, 200916 yr Hi,There is a simple .bgl file, created by Jim Care, that is widely used by Flightsimmers in Africa. I can't find it in the File Library, so it must have been killed off by the "big crash" that Avsim went through. I think the best I can offer is the author's e-mail address, which is [email protected]. Hope you will be able to get it from him (and maybe get him to upload it once again) It is designed for Flightsim 9, but works well with Flightsim X also.So sorry, please forgive me, Jim Keir!
December 15, 200916 yr How's about taking a look see here :)Markhttp://www.jimkeir.co.uk/FlightSim/scenery.html
