December 16, 200916 yr OK, I did a search, but due to not being able to use 2 letter words, I can't find what I am looking for so maybe someone can help out. Last night, I flew from Leipzig to Rome and when I tried to insert the runway (8R), the FMC reported that the runway was not in the database. I went to Navigraph and downloaded the last Airac cycle (0912) for PMDG and installed it. I even verified that the runway is listed in the EDDP file. I went into the game to see if it now showed up in the FMC and am still getting the not in database error. How do I stop said error message when in fact the runway is listed? Neither the 8L or 8R runways are found with the FMC while 26R is. I find it odd that it is while the opposite ends are not.Mike Shannon Supporter GhostRecon.net | AGgReSsion WhiteKnight77's Place Mike Shannon
December 16, 200916 yr I assume you are entering 08L or 08R using two digits. If you had provided the ICAO codes I could have looked into my files for you; at Rome, open the XXXX.txt file for that location. The first section if fixes, the second section is runways and starts with a header RNW. You should see a list of runways for that location.I'm not sure what the EDDP file is that you referred to (Rome would be LI-something-something). The two files that need to agree to avoid runway errors are the sidstar file and the wpNavAPT.txt file.I don't know the European codes near as well as the US, sorry for my ignorance. Dan Downs KCRP
December 16, 200916 yr Author EPPD is Leipzig. Rome is LIRF. Leipzig is the airport I was having problems with and I suspect you are right, not entering 2 digits for the runway caused the error. That is why the 26L runway showed up and not the 8R. Thanks Dan.Mike Shannon Supporter GhostRecon.net | AGgReSsion WhiteKnight77's Place Mike Shannon
