December 16, 200916 yr hello,I am thinking of uninstalling fsx acceleration so that my lds 767 will function properly. If I uninstall acceleration will it cause problems with my installed addons? If I end up having to reinstall everything then uninstalling acceleration may not be worth the trouble. thanksAndres
December 16, 200916 yr I think that would depend on your add-ons. Anything to do with the carrier, some Missions, the SDK, or the enhanced scenery would likely have issues. Other than that, removing Acceleration also removes SP2, which is the standard for almost all add-ons now. You could uninstall Acceleration and then install SP2 from Microsoft for free - you do not need Acceleration to get SP2. I don't know anything about your 767, but I would hope there would be some way to make it SP2-compliant by now.Jeff ShylukSenior Staff ReviewerAVSIM
December 16, 200916 yr I think it also removes SP1 and I don't think SP2 cumulative. December 17, 200916 yr First...What are the exact problems you are having with your Level-D?Problems with an addon are most often addon specific... Unless they are conflicting with something else (another addon?) either installed in FSX, or your computer in general. So, I would not be so hasty and uninstall SP2/Acceleration just yet.List your 767 problems and maybe the rest of us can help diagnose the cause, so you don't have to uninstall SP2/Acceleration?
