December 18, 200916 yr Hey everyone,Is it possible for activesky to auto submit textures from flight environment??? If yes, how do you do it??? Or is it possible to import flight environment textures in the AS graphics and set it up to choose from the list automatically based on weather forecast???I read AS manual and it says that it can auto submit IGS textures-based. They are all very good in my opinion. I'm trying to find a way to group all textures i have from all those programs (flight environment, rex2004, zinertek weather environment) into one folder under just one program and auto select with AS.It's quite a shame that each time i want to use one program i.e flight environment or others, i have to go in it first, installed the textures and then launch AS. It would have been much more simple to use just one program.Sorry for asking so many questions. I used to regard FS as a game but now i'm in the process of reinstalling everything for serious simming and i want to get it right this time.
December 18, 200916 yr Hi,When Active Sky v6.5 was released, many years ago, most of those texture programs didn't even exist! How would we have interfaced with software that wasn't even around back then?As mad dog explained so very well, Active Sky Advanced can now do much of this because ASA is a "newer" program and we were aware of the environmental texture programs that are available. Thanks!

How would we have interfaced with software that wasn't even around back then?Than you should update it...a little. There is so many of us still using it, and not planing to go for ASA. It's like FS2004 or FSX. My Specification: I CAN RUN FSX IN MAX SETTINGS....i don't care about dell, bell, amd, intel, 60000 wats power supply or alien made graphic card....

I love Activesky and it's the top of all the addons i have. I dont mind updating to AS Advanced as long as i am assured that i will be able to reach my goal. Please could u confirm this. Many thanks Many thanks.
December 19, 200916 yr dally,The update is ASA. We are not going to go back to a quite old program, ASv6.5, and try to integrate any texture programs with it. Use your texture programs and submit your textures into FS04 and then ASv6.5 will use those textures.mwj,I am not sure what your ultimate goal is, but if it is to collect environmental texture combinations and then allow ASA to submit a set of those based on weather conditions, then ASA will do that.Any other questions can be asked! Thanks,
