December 18, 200916 yr Hi all,I'm building a simpit and it's great fun. I sit in it and make 'vroom-vroom' noises quite a lot!I have the visuals set up - it comprises 3 identical computers all running FS9, WinXP Pro SP2 and WideView.Whether online or offline I have a few poblems with seeing other traffic:1) Online - I must have all 3 PCs connected to the internet. I connect the two 'slave' machines as observers. There is a bit of a lag probelm and a/c appearing in the main screen can 'zoom around' quite a lot in the slaves.2) Offline - using AI traffic, even if I do my best to synchronise all settings, and synchronise all 3 PCs Simulator time, I still get discrepancies with traffic - another a/c will appear happily in the right screen, trundle across and disappear out its side - not appearing in the middle screen. It will then appear in the left screen but when it's only half visible it'll appear in the centre screen! It's not a case of proper screen identification or placement - scenery appears absolutely fine, so it's a case of timing and synchronisation - only by a second or so, but it's very distracting! So I guess there are two possible solutions - either get the synch sorted out time-wise, or run all 3 screens off 1 computer.Running 3 screens off 1 machine would have great benefits for online flying aswell - too complicated to explain here, but it would be soooooo much easier if I didn't have to connect all 3 PCs to the internet!so - two questions:1) Has anyone managed to synchronise AI Traffic across 3 PCs satisfactorily?2) If my Christmas bonus were around

December 18, 200916 yr Thanks Jim, I'll head on over! Roger I have the same problem with traffic and weather and can't seem to synchronise them.I use th2go for some instruments and fwd projector view and client with wideview ,which I'm pretty new to by the way so I'm probably talking rubbish....for fwd left view which incurs some stuttering on the client. With regards to the th2go if you were to attach it to a client to have a 'stretched 'single 3 monitor view I assume that would work but I think wideview only allows 1 view per pc so you could not split e.g left view, fwd view ,right view as far as I know, could well be wrong??.And if you get stuttering already as I do I assume it would maybe get even worse.I'm sure you already know of Mycockpit.org as they will probably have members who can help ,just in case you haven't been there.regards Jim
December 19, 200916 yr Roger, how about a setup like this:- Main PC: TH2GO, driving 3 monitors in one "stretched" view - ONLY outside view, no instruments!- Secondary PC: connected via Wideview driving 2 monitors below the 3 monitor display for instruments only On the secondary machine you can have FS settings at absolute minimum, because it only shows instruments. I've seen a few setups like this on the net and I am building one myself these days. Regards,Jure
