December 27, 200916 yr After studying a chart I noticed :Star RNav and Sid RNavWhat means RNav and what is the purpose of Star and Sid RNav ?RNAV is the capability to fly directly between any two points on the globe, as opposed to flying from radio beacon to radio beacon (usually a less direct path). Examples of RNAV systems are inertial navigation systems and GPS.RNAV procedures (e.g. SIDs and STARs) are for RNAV-equipped aircraft.
