So I finally bought this bad boy we know as the MD-11. Honestly, the first couple of times I have used this imulation I have just played with the cockpit lighting. It's awesome. However, I don't even know where to begin on how to fly this thing. Any tips would be appriciated.matt kubanda

Hi Matt, First start with the 1st Tutorial that came with it. As you find yourself wondering what something is, reference the manuals. I recommend putting all of the manuals into one directory then you can use the advanced search in the pdf's. It can be done by pressing CTRL+Shift+F. It is an advanced search that allows you to search several pdf's at once in the same directory. Once you have the 1st tutorial down (flown it many times, and understand the concepts) I would recommend then hitting the recently released Advanced Tutorial. The manuals are quite intensive and are hard to read page by page, but great for reference and to help with your continued learning. The more you learn, the more questions you'll have and the circle of knowledge will take it's course. You will never out grow them ;-)Using the advanced search in pdf's is probably the most valuable "Tip" I could say. Being able to search all of the MD-11 manuals at once is something I'm sure most don't use yet.
